Also inaugurated on 19 August 2025 was the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge, an important new crossing across the Tien River in the Mekong Delta. This landmark project strengthens connectivity between Vinh Long, Dong Thap, and Ben Tre, while easing the load on the existing Rach Mieu Bridge located about 4 km downstream.
Its main bridge, measuring more than 1.9 km in length, is a stay-cable structure with two pylons rising 113 metres high. With a width of 21.5 metres, it accommodates four lanes and supports a design speed of up to 80 km/h.
Utracon Vietnam contributed to this significant project by designing and fabricating the climbing formwork system for the main pylons, while also providing installation supervision and operational support.
Our team’s contribution helped ensure safe and efficient construction, enabling the timely completion of this landmark bridge for the Delta region.
