Balanced Cantilever Precast Segmental

This method is most suitable when precast segments can be delivered from the rear or from beneath the erected spans. It is also used when the radius of curvature of the viaduct alignment is too tight for the deployment of a launching girder.

It can be erected in multiple construction fronts via the deployment of more than 1 set of lifter. This method is particularly helpful for projects where handover of site for foundation and pier construction are hampered by land takeover issues, diversion of underground services problems, etc.
